Herts CC - My Baby's Brain: Building Baby Brains 2017 - 2018
We already know that parents are the most important influences in children’s lives, but recently we have discovered that how a parent behaves around their baby has a significant impact on how their baby’s brain develops. Hertfordshire County Council's "My Baby's Brain" one-day practitioner training aims to equip practitioners with an understanding of how brain development happens in babies and children, and how they can help parents, children and babies to form strong attachments that will encourage healthy development. The course ties in with the "Five to Thrive" resources and messages now being rolled out across the county.
If you work with parents of young children (aged 0-3) in Hertfordshire, you may be eligible to attend this training day, and would need to be available to attend on ONE of the dates shown below.
The training is taking place at the Hertfordshire Development Centre, Robertson House, Six Hills Way, Stevenage, Herts, SG1 2FQ, from 9:15am to 4pm. Refreshments will be provided but you will need to make your own arrangements for lunch.
Note: Registration for each event will close five days before the event date.
